Search Code and HIP Code Workshops 2008
As sponsors of the Search Code and HIP Code and as part of their commitment to promoting good standards of practice within the search and HIP sectors, CoPSO and AHIPP will host four Codes Workshops during 2008. These will be held on a regional basis and all Code Compliance Officers are invited to attend. To reserve a place, please complete the booking form (linked below) and return it to info@copso.org.uk.

The Workshops will cover:
- What Registered Firms need to do to comply with the HIP Code and Search Code.
- Feedback on the recent audit of all search reports and HIPs by the PCCB and areas to focus on for Registered Firms.
- The introduction of Competence Testing for all personal search agents during 2008 as a requirement under the Search Code.
- What changes will be made to both the Codes during 2008.
- Useful checklists and guides to help Registered Firms comply with the Codes.
- Update on the inspection process and what Registered Firms can expect.
The Workshops will be free and priority will be given to firms that have already registered under the Codes.
